Here at S.E.E.D. we know how difficult it is to look after someone with an eating disorder or be affected by one. This is why we run a carers group where you can ask those nagging questions to make yours and the suffers life a little easier. Everybody is welcome and we hope to see you there!

Our Carer's Advice and Information Clinics offer friendly

and relaxed advice sessions, designed to give family members, friends or partners information, support and advice in all aspects of eating disorders and mental health issues.

The groups alternate between educational group sessions and open support sessions, and are all held in a safe, comfortable and confidential environment.

The educational groups focus on topics such as healthy eating and realistic expectations, managing mealtimes, and coping during holiday periods. If there is a particular area in which you would like to request information and support, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we can arrange provision of such literature at the following session.

The open support sessions involve attendees discussing any issues they have or being provided with any information and advice they may need. It is an hour and a half long session in which carers can openly discuss any topics they like, and share their own experiences to give and receive support from other individuals in similar situations.

For information on the dates of these sessions please view the calendar page. A view of the location can be seen in the 'Maps' page.
